De Vortex Valves Hand slide Orifice Gate Hand schuifafsluiter met een volle ronde product doorlaat is ontworpen voor het regelen of afsluiten van een productstroom met poeders, granulaat of pellets. Toepasbaar in een vrije val transport systemen onder en hopper of silo uitloop.

De Vortex Valves Hand Slide Orifice Gate hand schuifafsluiter kenmerkt zich door een compacte bouwvorm met een laag installatie gewicht. Door toepassing van een doorlopend klepblad met een rond gat erin is de schuifafsluiter zelfreinigend na elke dicht en open bediening (geen product verlies).

Door het toepassen van harde duurzame polymeren afdichtingen volgens de norm EG1935/2004 is de schuifafsluiter product dicht naar de afgesloten zijde en naar buiten! De polymeren afdichting kan op een eenvoudige wijze na-gesteld worden zonder de hand schuifafsluiter te demonteren uit de productielijn, wat een hoge efficiëntie van het productie proces oplevert.

S	Material/ Metal contact is 316L stainless steel.
P	Mounting studs are removed and special mounting holes matching an ANSI pattern are provided for bolting through the gate flange. Not all holes are able to be used.
HT3	Modifications are made allowing 250 F (121 C) continuous to 300 F (149 C) intermittent service.
HT4	Modifications are made allowing 400 F (204 C) continuous to 450 F (232 C) intermittent service.
WS	Gate blade is electropolished. Polyethylene (PET or UHMW) pressure plate seals are used to replace nylon.
